First Presbyterian Church is proud to have sponsored a Boy Scout Troop continuously since 1923. We are also the first in our area to offer this same scouting program to girls.
Scouts BSA Troop 344 (boys) meets weekly during the school year on Tuesdays from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. We currently have around 25 boys in the troop, along with a number of trained adult leaders.
Scouts BSA Troop 333 (girls) also meets weekly during the school year on Tuesdays from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. The troop started on February 1, 2019. The girls in the troop are among the first in the nation to earn the rank of Eagle Scout.
Scouts have the opportunity to learn leadership skills, build character, grow in confidence, and most of all, to have fun! Prospective scouts and their parents are welcome to visit any time.
